Hi, I’m Lydia…

and I am the owner of Lavish Heights LLC, a clothing company where we cater to all woman, but especially woman of height.

Growing up being tall for me was uncomfortable. I wasn’t one of those girls that embraced their height or was confident with being as tall as most of the boys.

Do you want to know why? I could never find anything to wear!

It’s one of the most isolating feelings to not have pants that fit you all the way. I would have to roll them up and convert them into capris so I wouldn’t feel embarrassed. Sweaters and long sleeve shirts were also unacceptable because the sleeves would stop above my wrist. So yup, you guessed it, I would have to roll them up as well. Jackets were short, skirts had to be longer than the average, the list goes on. My self esteem took every blow during my school years. And it’s not that my family couldn’t afford better fitting clothes or wasn’t willing to get them for me— they just simply weren’t available.

I got tired of having this struggle, so I started making my own clothes. I would measure myself and sew pieces together. I would create a top, dress or pants that made me feel good! And I thought about all the woman across the world that have this same issue…

That’s why I started Lavish Heights.
